The position<\/strong><\/p>

For the growth of company, we are looking for Senior Golang Developer to join our team (Location: Costa Rica or country with similar time zone to Costa Rica +\/- 1 hour).<\/p>

It's a full-time position for candidates in either Latin America or Eastern Europe, willing to work with at least 3 hours of overlap with Eastern Europe office hours (check what time it is in Bulgaria, for instance, and compare to your own to see what's the difference)<\/p>

Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>

  • Design and implement different parts of distributed, event driven and reliable microservice\u2019s architecture.<\/li>
  • Designing and developing on NoSQL databases.<\/li>
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining integrations with various internal and external applications.<\/li>
  • Providing support for our application, working closely with product and account management teams<\/li>
  • Work with Product Owner to translate business requirements into technical designs and then help to plan Sprints that deliver quality components and products on time<\/li>
  • Assisting the Product Management group in specifying requirements into technical requirements<\/li>
  • Actively participate in research, discussions and decisions on software architecture, development processes, and other standards<\/li>
  • Actively participate in our Scrum process: Standups, Refinements, Planning, Retrospectives, Demos<\/li><\/ul>


    Your background & requirements<\/strong><\/p>

    • Bachelor\u2019s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience<\/li>
    • 2+ years of experience with Golang<\/li>
    • 5+ years of experience with one of the following languages: Golang, C++, C# or Java<\/li>
    • Experience with designing and\/or implementing distributed systems.<\/li>
    • Experience with designing and\/or implementing microservice oriented architecture.<\/li>
    • Experience with Git, NoSQL.\u00a0<\/li>
    • Strong knowledge of TCP\/IP and HTTP protocol stacks.<\/li>
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.\u00a0<\/li>
    • Experience of design and implementation of RESTful web services.\u00a0<\/li>
    • Experience working on Windows\/Linux environments.<\/li>
    • Ability to work in team oriented environment, and can work independently<\/li>
    • Strong written and verbal communication in English.<\/li>
    • Advanced Knowledge of OOP\/OOD, Design patterns and SOLID<\/li>
    • Experience with performance tuning of large-scale platforms.<\/li>
    • Experience working in an Agile Development environment<\/li>
    • You are located in either Latin America, or Eastern Europe<\/li>
    • You can work EST (Eastern Time) office hours, having at least 3 hours of overlap per day with the rest of the team.<\/li><\/ul>


      Nice to haves and pluses<\/strong><\/p>

      • \u00a0Experience with all of any of the following is considered a strong plus: RabbitMQ, Kafka, Proto buffers, gRPC, Redis, JWT, OAuth2.<\/li>
      • Experience using tools such as Gitlab, SVN, Jira, Confluence, Docker.<\/li>
      • A good grasp of HTML5, JavaScript \/ TypeScript Lambda expressions (LINQ), CSS, LESS, Bootstrap, SPA.<\/li>
      • Experience with JavaScript is considered a plus.<\/li>
      • Experience with Cassandra, CouchDB and\/or Couchbase is considered a plus.<\/li>
      • Knowledge of UML or similar design languages\/methodologies.<\/li><\/ul>
